Update Re. child with lump on neck

Well the lump is still there, no change in size, feel or child's health. Saw GP today who said it was "probably, but not definitely, a reactive gland". I was advised to not touch it for a month and if it's still there after that time they will reassess, so fingers crossed it'll go away soon!

A sensible approach to a situation which is almost certainly innocent.
Had a lump on the side of my neck the size of an egg when i was 14.
It was surgically removed, two weeks after seeing the doc.
I'm 54 now! Still waiting for any after effects!
