Although this is not due for a while i wondered if anyone knew when the tining belt in my 09 Focus is meant to get changed. It says nothing in the handbook or service portfolio.

What has the car done Boro? I would def get it done at 70000, it's all well & good what the book says but it's you that foots the bill if it snaps, with respect to JTP response when the car gets to 60>>70000 the belt has had some hammer but at the end of the day it's your decision.
I would agree with TWR !

My car is 1000 miles also but the water pump can go well below that at the same time snapping the cambelt!

Get it done a lot sooner.
