Weak and easily brushed aside these days, a pale shadow of the decent side they were a couple of years ago under Martin O'Neill

yep, they are a 11 man defence team under the "might" of alex mcleish, you wont find one pundit who will go against him
Boring, negative and technically poor. A typical MacLeish team.

They'll be dragged into the relegation battle if they're not careful
Im surprised they are not already, I think its down to poorer teams being in the mix, birmingham city under mcleish were relagated with more points.
Villa fans deserve a medal for turning up every week. It's time for randy Lerner to look for a young bright manager such as Brendon Rodgers and Paul lambert.
>>>>were a couple of years ago under Martin O'Neill

Bear in mind he had Ashley Young, Downing, Milner, and Friedal, all sold.

Also Bent and Dunne are currently injured (as was Warnock today) and Petrov has just been diagnosed with cancer.

The team today was patched up with youngsters (good ones but still young and learning their trade).
....and with 'Big Eck in charge yet another ex-Fergie acolyte who won't mind if his team gets beaten.
