Can you buy balsamic dressing, it often appears drizzled on a starter in a restaurant, sometimes on the plate, or do I have to make it? I dont mean balsamic vinegar by the way, though that would be the main ingredient I would think.

2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 teaspoon light brown sugar
1 garlic clove , minced (optional)
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper , ground
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
Directions:


1. Mix all ingredients EXCEPT oil together.

2. Add oil to mixture and mix well with whisk or latte frother.

Does this come thick like a glaze? I was hoping it could be bought in a bottle.
I bought a bottle of a balsamic glaze I think it was from Sainsbury, that was a while ago but I'm sure it's still available
Yes, you can buy it. I have a bottle of Balsamico Creme (sweetened, thickened balsamic vinegar) bought at Aldi during an Italian "special" week.
Yes, you can buy balsamic glaze in Morrisons. It's really nice...
I've got a balsamic and orange dressing from the Co-Op
M&S do a lovely one. I have also seen it in Sainsburys and Waitrose
The Pizza Express one, available from Sainsbury is not too nice.
