Hi. What was the name of the 70's/80's crisp snack? The crisps were very thin, often sharp (!) fried sticks varying in length from 4cm to 10cm. They weren't called chip sticks or French fries. What were they?

Yes they were Chipsticks, I didn't like them at all, always thought that they were like eating wooden cocktail sticks!... (not that I have ever eaten wooden cocktail sticks!....lol)

Well, we put a lot of effort into this. I hope this is one thread that PK123 remembers to return to
Twiglets?
I'm with Tonyav. They were M&S's own chipsticks, and were ready salted flavoured.
I've remembered why I stopped answering questions from some posters
I can remember as a kid these sticks in a little packet, fried and kinda hollow but very thin , I think the ones we ate were tomato sauce flavour. they were not chip sticks but I'm dammed if I can remember the name, i just remember I loved them especially the scraps at the end full of flavour
