4 probably a play on the word Slean or slane, I used a tool of that name to cut turf or peat in the mayo bogs as a lad
Lurgan? There's an old saying: He/she had a face on them like a Lurgan spade. It was a long thin spade used to cut turf in Mid Ulster.
