Flouring Liver prior to cooking

Having liver n onions for dinner tonight, do you flour the liver before pan fying it?
I don't usually bother becuase i'm not sure the reason behind it! (always seems to taste ok without the flouring!)

Just wish the rest of my family would it eat! A pack of lambs liver from asda's was less than a pound and would easliy feed a family of four!

Oh well more for me :0)

humbersloop you are such a gourmet.
Flour with salt and pepper , it just tastes better . Only lightly fried though or it goes like wood.
I'd be the 1 cooking lovers liver,thought of liver,ugh!
