Hi
Im looking for the name of a kind of soft fibre board, comes in 8'X4' sheets that I used some years ago...it was perfect to use as a drawing pin notice board.
does any body know the stuff im talking about or know similar product...normal cork board is really expensive for that size..

Laminate flooring underboards make great pin boards.
The soft fibre board is "Sundeala" - seems to be still available.
I think the particular one you're thinking about, we used to call "insulation board". Nothing to do with modern Celotex foam insulation. It was an 8x4 sheet of soft thick fibre with one ivory face side, and 1/2 inch thick. I've no idea if it's still available though. Check with a builders' merchants.
