You can carry him out in your arms and in the car now and he can meet people who don't have dogs. Keep him away from other dogs and dog owners for the present but take him loads of different places and have him meet loads of people so he will not be nervous. IIRC he will have sufficient immunity 2 weeks after last vacs but check with the vet. Ask the vet if they do puppy socialisation. Pups can usually go to these groups to meet other pups and owners under clean carefully controlled conditions once first vacs are done, the classes are very good for the pup and great fun for the owner.

as soon as the receptionist gets off the phone lol!! Been trying a while!
when you go check with the vet on the latest taking out advice, mne were pups 4 years ago. Do ask about puppy socialisation, it was wonderful
From what I can remember (not had a pup for years), they have two lots of injections and then after the second lot they can go out. Aren't you lucky having an 8 week old pup !
oh yeah, the poos, the puddles, the sleepless nights, the chewing....how I miss it......
Lol woofgang - all worth it though imo .....
