Just an update. Not gonna say 'I told you so' but it could be time to get the landing craft un-mothballed! Problem is we'd have no one to put in them.........

They may want to settle it on a football pitch instead!
You have to type in the countries you want to compare btw
Click the "compare other nations" link at the bottom of the page :-)

On a footy pitch? Gawd, I wouldn't be able to stand all that diving around and 'I've just been snipered' role play by the South Americans.

Better settle it on a rugby pitch, have a proper ruck with no quarter given.
It does seem a bit of an anomaly that we are giving aid to a country that is imposing an export ban on our goods. Perhaps quietly we should stop doing that.

The last time Argentina went on a Falklands adventure it was to distract its pipulation from dire economic news at home. As well as the 30th anniversary, we also have the situation that Argentina is suffering another economic crisis (along with the rest of us), and again this might be to divert the Argentines populus away from domestic woes.
All of this is entirely non-military

They are applying sanctions to us in the same way as we apply sanctions to countries we dissapprove of like Zimbabwe.

You know one might almost think you want to see a war

Would that make you feel good to see Britaion flexing it's military muscles?

"Our boys" in action against the foe?

People getting killed?
No, lets just stop buying their 'Bully Beef'.
What annoys me is that so often we hear and read the term " Giving back the Falklands " Giving them to whom " The Penguins ? "
When we settled in the Falklands Argentina didn't even exist and subsequently the Argies never had a settlement there.
