Are all the repeat postings of the "how many hours of exercise does it take a toothbrush to reduce its risk of a heart attack by four inches"-type questions being systematically removed?

There were a few of them here this morning, and I was just thinking of a suitably witty / sarcastic / whatever comment to make when they all disappeared. And they hadn't even moved to Quizzes & Puzzles !

This is great news if this is the case. Is it a new dictat from the monks? Keep up the good work Ab-Ed!

hi brachipod, I have seen loads of these too, but chose to ignore them. I know I have in the past asked many stupid questions but these ones dont even make sense (not to me anyway)

I reported some as duplicates

Hi brachio,

Shhhh....don't tell anyone but the Big Chief has reintroduced covert operation "Click and Destroy" (not seen on the AB since the heady Marlboro days of 2004) to be in effect until further notice, hence all "how many hours/ounces of soya/waist inches/vacation days.." are to be extricated and ramboozled at will.

Spot on, Ed !!

I can see you now, cam-cream on your face, camouflaged mouse and grass and bushes sticking out of your USB as you receive final briefing before embarking on Operation Click & Destroy.

Ed I think I love you
I missed all the Marlboro stuff. Was that all about the secrets written on cover? Was that before or after branflakes?

twas a Quiz of some sorts.

Before my time, but like the great Greek epics, time is no barrier to its lasting legacy.

AHHHHHHH! The questions have reappeared again in Science. Questions 164811, 12, 13, 14, & 16.

gen2 I reported them the other day.

ABE this "Click and Destroy," is that for the questions or the folk posting them?

So did I CORBY, so two reports obviously aren't enough. I wonder how many it takes to trigger an automatic removal. In any case, the good news now is that they have GONE.
