win7 sound prob

just installed win 7 and although it installed soundmax and sb x-fi extreme audio drivers they have got the yellow question marks over them in device manager,both the info boxes on these two have this in it .....
"Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)"
its says i have the latest drivers when i go to update
on the speaker icon on the taskbar it say no audio output device is installed
i have xp pro on another hard drive (dual boot) and the audio is ok on that o/s ??

You will have to go to the manufacturers web site and download the Windows 7 driver for the sound card also the correct one for your version of Windows 7 ie 32 bit or 64 bit
