Query - answers staying in box

For the last couple of days, after I've I posted an answer, when I revisit that page my answer is still there in the box, so I have to delete it to make any further posts on that thread. (Using Firefox). Any idea why this has started happening and how to stop it please?

Another odd thing just happened, I clicked an email link to a subscripbed thread and when it opened it said subscription removed?
I didb;t want to unsubscribe, just read the latest post.....
