Can anyone remember who made the walnut whips that were bought in the 1960's? Seem to recall they came in a clear cellophane wrapping, are these still around today?

you can still get walnut whips, but they have a blue packaging now
ps, made by nestle!

I seem to remember they were Duncan's Walnut Whips

Yep..duncan walnut whips..julie.(:)
maybe its my age, but for me they've always been nestle!
can't help with who made them, but had one a while back and they are much smaller than the olden days (I'm not that old honest!) and quite a disappointment, I couldn't get my tongue in to get to the goo inside.
They originally had a walnut at the bottom of the goo as well as on top... now I'm showing my age!
I liked the coffee ones

We were certain they were Duncans too, (they went out of business for a long time from the late 60's until about ten years ago when the name suddenly re-appeared.) I don't remember the walnut inside but my mother does.

www.bagofsweets.com definately made by nestle' says so on packet unless someone else produced them as well.

Both Duncans and nestle (rowntrees) made them

Haggisdj - I've always thought I imagined the walnut at the bottom so thanks for that!!

Thanks y'all, it was of course Duncans originally, 'til rebranded twice, over the years. Had a Nestle one today,it tasted the same but my how it's shrunk!
M&S sell their own and their not bad.
I don't want to put anyone off but years ago when the walnut was in the bottom of the walnut whip, my sister found a grub in her nut (so to speak!) Just after this they stopped putting the nut in the bottom and started putting it on the top.
