Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

The Crosswords Editor Val Gilbert wrote in the 30 Oct edition that there would be a new competition. There isn't a new competiton is there?

Was it just a ploy to trick us into reading through the entire New Look Sunday Telegraph?

No, Shaneystar you have misunderstood my question.

I am not complaining about the well commented on removal of the prize cryptic and GK crosswords.

Val Gilbert wrote in his apology 30 Oct that there would a new competition along with the traditional [naff]crosswords. I cannot find a new competition.

The new seven clue was so small that I missed it. It seems to be a crafty way to gather cryptic clues for crosswords.

My partner has pointed out that I should have written that the new competition is 'insignificant' rather than small, and that it is not a prize competition.

I stand corrected, less and fewer springs to mind.
