I have a BT hub about 3 years old and it will not give me more than 30FT through a couple of walls.
I have been given a Belkin N+ wireless router along with a N+ usb network adaptor. Is this a better unit? The guy who gave it to me says its better but how can you tell?
Alternatively can I put this Belkin router on another part of the house on the same phone line?

The BT Hub is already a quality "N" standard router. What you need is a wifi extender to cover areas that the wifi signal is not reaching.
