Thierry Henry scores on his dream return for Arsenal. I'm not a Gooner but I just think: good for him! Paul scholes return to Man Utd yesterday was less successful. Which player from the past (as far back as you like) from your club would you like to see make a comeback today if they were at their peak? I'm a Toffee and I'd love to see Duncan Mackenzie up to his old tricks again.

At his Best I would like to see Eric Cantona back.

Also, on Uniteds official site the top ten Players of all time for United players votes were:

1. Ryan Giggs (1991-present)
2. Eric Cantona (1992-1997)
3. George Best (1963-1974)
4. Sir Bobby Charlton (1956-1973)
5. Cristiano Ronaldo (2003-2009)
6. Paul Scholes (1994-present)
7. David Beckham (1993-2003)
8. Roy Keane (1993-2005)
9. Peter Schmeichel (1991-1999)
10. Wayne Rooney (2004-present)
Peter Beardsly - better than Messi
** " Beardsley" **
Jeff Astle RIP
Dunno about your question but I think it was a bit much to make TH man of the match.
Bet Arshavin is well pissed off, I don't think he made the Leeds keeper work very hard tonight. I think he tries too hard sometimes.

With the vast improvements in boots, shin guards, etc.; the new, lighter balls; the greater protection now given to flare players and the advancement of the game in general I would love to see how George Best would have played these days...
For me it would have to be
Billy Liddell
Ian Rush
Kenny Dalglish
John Barnes
Peter Beardsley
Bruce Grobbelaar
Ray Clemence
etc etc
ah but with all the cheap deals on booze he'd never have made it onto the pitch
If it were just one player I think we could do with right now it'd be Rushy, just to put away half the chances we create... or Fowler in his prime.
Agree pa-ul !!
