got a brochure from urquarts travel, was going to book a break to london'discover london with a theatre break'2 nights bed and breakfast, now my moan starts, the front seats are guaranteed for £10(which used to be free)i told them i needed front seats because i am disabled and there reply was, loads of people want front seats because they are disabled so you will have to pay £10,all the other seats you dont pay for.
when i asked them if they had theatre tickets in the disabled area in the theatre she said she only had tickets for the one area but would have to phone up and see if she could get any tickets.
i feel i have been let down by them, usually they are very good, great to travel with, right moan over,

why not phone the theatre box office and find it if they add £10 surcharge and are passing it on to you or its Urquart making an extra buck ? if so get back on to Urquart with your proof. My OH is disabled and though we have to pay for the best seats we have never paid any more over the top, we live in London area.
I used to pay the balance of holidays with DU by credit card but I noticed that there is a 2% credit card fee. This will add about £30 to the cost of the holiday, No credit card fees on deposits.Glad I noticed the small print.

i thought i was the only one that noticed this,i think they're taking the mick i'll see what caledonian are up to though.
Caledonian and DU have both stopped pick-ups in Fife.DU has a Fife brochure -pick-ups in Fife only-not much choice in it though-only one continental holiday in it.
Shearings also charge £10 each for the front seats. Dee Sa you got the wrong end of the stick its the bus seats not the theatre ones.
Surely this charging for front seats is age or disability discrimination-0r just plain greed. It would be helpful perhaps if some front seats were for disabled. Having said that I must admit to getting a bit annoyed at having to wait for ages to get off the coach esp when it was just a short stop.
