Any one going to watch this film tonight (on at 8pm)??? I have watched it many times-have it on DVD-But I shall be watching it again tonight. It is one of those 'feel good' films, makes me smile all the way through it.

We went to see it in London too Jem and JJ. It was fantastic. Film stars can't sing so I'm not watching it.
Saw the stage show in London which was fantastic with everyone on their feet dancing. Bit disappointed with the film so not watching tonight.
I thought that Meryl Streep & Julie Walters were Mis-cast in it. Its only the music that holds it together. Yep, stage show far superior.

Haven't seen the film at all, not sure if I fancy it at all - do you recommend it? I love Wall-E but I watched that the other evening so didn't watch it again tonight. Currently we're watching Barcelona v Osasuna playing footie
a couple of dozen dishy Spaniards in shorts kicking a ball about what's not to like?
Yes, the singing is a bit crap.

Pierce Brosnan is terrible.
This one's good, too ... Does Your Mamma Know.
Oh, crap ... I can hardly see the sodding screen for wiping my eyes.

=0)
I might watch next time, if it's that good!
Fabby fabby fab.

Bed now.
3rd time I've seen it and still cry at the "Slipping through my fingers" scene.
I was crying all the way through the damn film.
Never seen it. We watched Episodes 1 & 2 of When the boat comes in.
Crikey !!
When The Boat Comes In ...

Blasto de Pasto !

That was on telly before I was at boarding school, which was 1977.

So When The Boat Comes In must have been on in the mid 70's.

That makes me feel old.
Absolutely loved it. Desolated when recording got deleted. Recorded it tonight
and will watch it over and over. Real feel good factor.
I've seen it once and that was enough.
I love Abba songs.... when they're sung by Abba.

Well that was a mixed bunch of replies.Seems we either love it are hate it--bit like marmite!!!! I must say I enjoyed it just as much last night as when I watched it for the first time. Must say though that last night I watched it in HD, made the scenery really great. Its the only film that I can watch over and over. But I do also like 'Goodnight Mr Tom' and 'Titanic'. Any body else like those too???
Titanic?

Total pants.

LOL
