I orderd something from Amazon which failed to be delivered by the courier. Amazon agreed to issue a refund on the item (although initially they didn't want to until the courier returned it to them but I kicked up a bit of a stink). Coming into work today I found a card from the courier saying a parcel had been left with a neighbour (not sure when it was delivered) and it turned out to be the item that was refunded, a month after I ordered it.

So, what happens now? Assuming the courier has registered somewhere that they've now delivered the item will Amazon charge me again (it was only about £12) or should I just keep quiet about it?

If you want the item contact them and offer to pay again...if not contact them to arrange a return
Honesty is the best policy. This happened to me and when I contacted the firm they told me to keep the item. So ended up with a free item.
just be honest about it
This has happened to us in the past, and we offered to pay for it - clear conscience.
I'd just keep it.

Well I'd be a liar if I said there wasn't a temptation to just keep my gob shut and keep it, they've right buggered me around recenty but I had wondered if they might just retake the payment automatically. Either way they'll have to wait til I get paid at the end of the week as Christmas has sainted me out.

*skinted not sainted. Lol
They shouldn't just take the repayment
I think I'd be sorely tempted to keep it but my conscience would make me pay for it or call the courier and return it
