I think you forgot a bit in your haste to make your post, chirpy.

You typed "cos she isn't. Ab Fab not funny. Jam And Jerusalem not funny. French And Saunders not funny."

What you meant to type but so obviously forgot was - "In my opinion" cos she isn't. "In my opinion" Ab Fab not funny. "In my opinion" Jam And Jerusalem not funny."In my opinion" French And Saunders not funny.

And I think you will find that a moment review of the viewing figures of programmes she has been involved with would tell you that a lot of people would have an diametrically opposite view to yours.
I think Frank Skinner is very funny, btw!
well, I can't argue with anyone who finds Tim Vine and the Conchords funny, because so do I. Funnier than Ab Fab, in fact.

IN MY OPINION (that's just for people who have trouble reading between the lines)
Humour is, of course, very subjective - each to their own and all that - but I've never found them even remotely funny either.

Some stand-ups just don't 'do it' for me.

Somebody has mentioned Lenny Henry, who is cringeingly unfunny - yes Lenny, we know you are black, you really don't have to keep on telling us.

John Bishop seems to be riding on the wave of undeserved adulation. But perhaps with Bishop it is just because I can't get past the fact that he is exaggerating what is already the most gratingly annoying accent in the UK.

I like;

Frankie Boyle
Mark Thomas
Frank Skinner
Micky Flanagan
Sean Lock
Tommy Tiernan
Dara O Briain

to name but a few.
Well there we go, I finally found someone who does like Frank Skinner.

Right, I'm off to watch my Alan Carr boxset..... :)
Alan Carr???????????!!!!!

okay, I like him, too ;o)
>>>>>>like Sarah Millican

So it is down to personal opinion.

I find this woman awful and have to turn to a different channel when she is on, even if it is a show I enjoy like QI or Have I got News For You.
As others have said it is a matter of opinion. I can't stand Lee Evans but thats my view.
comedy is a personal thing. I usually find what makes me laugh doesnt raise a titter from my OH.
It's been said above - but bears repeating. Humour, like music and tastes in food, is very subjective - I don't expect to find *every*comedian will make me laugh. It would be a boring old world is we all liked the same stuff. In my opinion.
Well said chirpy.
humour is subjective, if jennifer saunders was largely unpopular she wouldnt have her programmes commissioned, therefore an amount of people must enjoy her style of entertainment.

I suggest you watch something else next time.
