Does anyone remember a cartoon about a white duck (not donald)?

Does anyone remember a cartoon from the 80s or 90s about a white duck and his friends. It had a character that was just an egg with feet but this wasn't anything to do with Garfield and Friends (Orson's Farm). Can anyone shed some light on the subject?

there was a cartoon'ish programe i remember called gideon, who was a goose with an extra long neck and the egg with just feet, was it ludwig???

Could it have been "Duckman"? Jason Alexander was the voice of Eric Duckman, P.I. It ran in the U.S. in the mid-1990s; it was rude and funny, but I can't remember if there was an egg with feet.

it sounds like Ludwig to me which I hated there was a duck that had half an egg on his head but cant remember name of that

I'm sure the cartoon was named after the main character, the duck (a white bird anyway). I keep thinking of alfie or arnold. It was an obscure cartoon, it wasn't very popular. Any more ideas?

I've found it. It's Alfred J Kwac. I don't think it did have that egg in it after all, though my memory says otherwise.

It from 80's. I thought I was goin mad and it was my imagination. Everyone I have asked does not remember I finally found someone who knows. I used to love Gideon but then again lookin back now I think all cartoons were a bit psychedelic I been watching Jamie and his magic torch
