Sorry, but I just don't find him funny. Do you? I liked him years ago, especially in Phoenix Nights, but he seems to have got way too big for his boots (pun intended) and thinks anything he says in that Bolton accent will have people falling about. Not me. You?

Had a man phone me up the other day asking would I take part in a gallop poll .I just said are you running an election .Was I right
Peter Kay is one of the only modern comedians who actually make me laugh.
and a message to Askyourgran - play that Buble record instantly, it is fabulous!!!
Mickrog, thanks so much for the Dave Allen clip. Absolutely loved him - and Bob Monkhouse, the Two Ronnies, Morcambe & Wise, Les Dawson et al. Must be getting old!
I like Peter Kay. He was the only person I laughed at on the RVP. I thought it was absolute rubbish, which is a shame as it used to be so good.

What a mess Barry Manilow looks, why can't people just age gracefully? I was looking forward to seeing Leona Lewis, but thought she looked awful and I couldn't understand her at the beginning of "Hurt". Tony Bennett is a great singer, but past his prime - wasn't there anyone younger they could have found to top the bill?

Mickrog - loved the Dave Allen clip, he was one of the best!
Yes mickrog Dave Allen was great. Loved watching that clip again.
Peter Kay was funny when he first came on the scene but not so much now.
Haven't watched RVP yet as it was on for too long so will watch tonight so I can whizz through the adverts etc
I thought the Irish comedian was very good.

yes he was WOTW I think it was just the top half of one of his fingers that was missing.
I think Peter Kay is funny.
I've seen worse Royal Variety (once called Royal Command Variety) shows. Let's face it we see very little variety on TV these days.

But I do wish they stopped all this on stage reference to the occupants of the Royal Box, it's so patronising.
aaah missprim, I think he missed the point! buddum tsh!

Peter Kay's bled his act dry, it's the same thing over and over! I love Tim Minchin, he's ace but given only 3 mins a comedian can only do so much!
I don't get what the fuss over Nicole Sherzinger's all about, I thought she was very average, that blonde lass with Rolando showed her how it was done!
laughed once, that was it, don't find him particularly funny,

Arent people strange? We thought last nights show was the best we have ever seen - and we've seen a few. the only one I felt missed the spot was the tall guy, Greg? Not one funny piece in his entire act - no punch line. But overall, very good.
chirpy I agree 100%. He was funny in Phoenix Nights especially when his stair lift got stuck. But he is not funny now, just a big unfunny up his own @rse type of z lister. Celeb in the Jungle next ?
I like Peter Kay, still funny in my eyes... however he could do with some new material for his stand-up act. it's always good to see 'some' of the stuff that made you laugh in the past isn't it. Ed Byrne has being milking his Alanis Morissette set for years now ... but its still funny.

A lot of the latest so called (funnymen/women) could learn a lot from the ol' masters agreed.
too many acts from Salford ruined it.
