Does anyone know the amount Scotland contributes to the Treasury with Oil revenues and other contributions and what it receives under the Barnett formula? Is Scotland a financial drain on England?

I was referring, K, to the fact that each independent nation has claims on the adjoining sea/ocean out to 200 miles or until it meets the similar 'border' of another nation. On this basis, Scotland would have a vast area of the oil-rich part of the North Atlantic and the rest of the UK only what the coast of Northern Ireland would give access to. That, I suspect, would be too small and too far south.
Cameron was in Aberdeen a few weeks ago, 'helping' BP celebrate their recent investment in the "Sccottish" area. In the event of independence and a similar event, he or his successor would be nowhere in sight, of course!
