Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

Is anybody else having problems connecting to the Times Crossword Club? I'm getting "www.crosswordclub.co.uk uses an invalid security certificate. The certificate expired on 01/10/2011 00:59"

I can't even get the site to open

Firefox (7) is a definite no-no. IE, if I ignore the dire warnings, takes me there, but then the login fails because I am told I am using the wrong password.

I was a bit too hasty with my previous posting. After a restart I got the main page up, but even then I once again got the message about an expired certificate (and confirmed by a roundabout route that the problem was with the site rather than with my computer). I just took my courage in both hands and told FireFox to ignore the warning. It would be nice to see an acknowledgement from Times Newspapers that they had a problem with their site. Until I see that I'm not going to be doing any internet banking transactions!
