At least after reading this I can understand why my own operation was delayed for so long and I was sent home so early without any home care arrangements!

I can't understand this story at all, absurd and all that's wrong about our immigration system.

I've heard of people not being able to leave hospital because they have no arrangements at home - but why could they not just have moved him to an Immigration Removal Centre?

He has suffered brain injury as well as a heart attack. An Immigration Removal Centre couldn't look after him.
