left click not working to open web sites

Hi for the last couple of days left clicking on the mouse will not let me open web sites. If I right click and `open` its fine and everything other than web pages left click is fine. Think I must have enabled security somehow but dont know how, anybody help please?

Are you trying a single left click or a double left click??

If this is from within a browser then try pressing Ctrl-0 i.e. hold the Ctrl button down and press 0 (zero), and then see if it's ok.
