Roughly, how long does it take for a car battery to go flat if the car lights have been left on (full lights)?

It is a reasonably new car and think it will have been well maintained and i would say used for moderate town driving

to my knowledge they haven't tried to start the car today - the other car has moved but that one is still sat there.........and I have not left the house today as I have been trying to have a clearout.
