My sons newish house has a bank of switched spurs controlling various appliances (4) but the spurs seems to be one "entity" ie. not four separate FCUs in separate metal boxes. I cant seem to see anything like this available from suppliers, anybody know where I can get some information or the product itself. Ta.

My husband who is a qualified electrician says you need to look on the back of the switches and it should tell u the make and then search on google etc.
That's called a grid system (of sorts) ..

All you need here ..

For instance .. here is an 6-way grid plate .. http://www.neweysonli...ctInformation.raction

and a grid switch (marked 'tumble dryer)

Neat, eh?
