The Pc Beta Alice? I heard the Console Beta's arent due on consoles till September, i was offered Alpha testing but my Laptop is old now and wouldnt cope!

Yes, the pc beta
There are 4 of us playing generally as a team, although sometimes 2 of us will switch sides. We use Teamspeak 3 to keep in touch.

Your right mate, if you can get a good squad going it really does make for a cracking game. You know when your doing things right when you get the Gold squad pin at the end of the game or the Ace pin!

You might be being a tad hasty especially with regards to Gears, the reviews ive seen have been very good and it has a four player Co-op mode which looks tasty and lots of fun!
