Help.

I have downloaded skype & every time i us it my laptop crashes after about 10 mins, can this be rectified or am i doing something wrong. My laptop is alright otherwise.

Crashes? Specifically, what happens...?

What happens is a very long message appears telling me windows will automatically shut down my computer to save damage, I am unable to read anything else as the screen then appears with coloured wavy lines & then shuts down. I 'm sorry if this is a bit vague, hope you can help.

Well, first things first. If you completely uninstall Skype, does the problem go away?

Assuming it does, try installing Skype again, making sure that you have the correct version for your hardware and operating system.

Thank you markrae, yes the problem does go away when uninstalled so I will try your suggestion & hope that it works.
