Try a bread poultice.
Put a plaster over it, see if it draws it out.
well I'm sorry to hear it's sore but there's not much you can do other than as LL suggests - just don't try and burst it.
Aaaaaah .. didums.

Man or mouse?
By the way emu, just 'cos I don't want you to get embarrassed our Sqad is a retired doc. - well a surgeon actually.
And by the way Emu. Welcome to AB and keep posting. You will get used to us and our funny ways, but we are in the main very nice people.
Lance it!!
Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
ooooo.
Thanks Lotty I guessed squad was a doc. however it certainly felt like we were splitting hairs...you mentioned abscess which is the medical term for boil and squad mentioned infected cyst which is by definition an abscess..aka boil!!!
I suppose 'boil' being a lay man's term I used the term lightly suggesting whether it be infective or not -and you set me right of course- it's just antibiotics aren't always used in the treatment for boils..that was my point.
Not meaning to embarrass you or squad but have you considered I might be a medical person too or other people who contribute?
Apologies MrMister! You just want treatment for your 'boil' lol ...magnesium sulfate paste
Not embarrassed Emu, and neither will Sqad be! Of course there are medical people on here and it becomes obvious the longer you are on this site who is genuinely a medical person and who is not!

Abscess by the way is not the medical term for a boil. 'Boil' is a medical term.
Again splitting hairs... did you really welcome me to AB or are you trying to bully me off it?
Shall we forget it now and leave people have the freedom to answer questions without being ridiculed?
Glad to hear squad is retired. I'm not :)
