I just thought I would give everyone the heads up. I have just received an email supposedly from the tax office telling me they accept my new figures and a refund of £458.12 is due to me click refund to have payment sent to your bank account. I know there have been these emails going around from the US tax but this was UK tax office Please dont fall for it.

Yes, never give your details out or even click onto these links, just delete immediately and block the sender.
Yes, I get a couple of emails about tax refunds everyday, 3 or 4 telling me about problems with a bank account from a bank I don't have an account with, one from paypal and about 3 from people telling me they have a huge sum of money for me. And now I've started getting some that supposedly from New York police Department about a speeding fine and asking me to open the attached fine.
Most go to a couple of disposable email addresses I use when I'm asked to supply an email address by an organisation i don't know.
The spam filters seem to pick most of these up
