I am running Windows 7 & I want to remove IE entirely.

Is there a tool someone could give me a link to, or advice on how to go about uninstalling?
I am using Firefox as my browser.

Thanks Chris.

I take it that it will remove IE in it's entirety and not merely revert to a previous version?
I know Microsoft don't want us to remove IE and therefore seem to make it very difficult.
The method given there will remove IE completely.

However you should remember that some programs expect IE to be present. If, for example, you install some new software from a disk, the disk might be configured so as to use IE in order for the instructions to appear on your screen.
Why bother removing it? Just don't use it

Thanks both.

On balance I think I'll just leave it.
IE is part of Windows and cant be removed as it helps to open programs and is part of the kernal. IE9 is the best and most secure browser at present with a 97% rejection of malware attacks compared to other browsers presently available.
"is part of the kernal."
No it's not.
Although it was in earlier versions of windows (before it went microkernel).... Yeah good old security conscious MS again, putting the most insecure part of any computer (a web browser) in the kernel was such a great idea!
Remember, too, that something saved as an HTML file may look for IE to open it when you want to view it later.
