There is a fella near me who's very friendly and has been asking me out since my hubby left in June. He says he just wants to be friends but Im wary and I feel its too soon. Should I go out with him just for a quiet drink? TIA.

Indeed, he should feel lucky, having a friend like Chinadog...agreed Sqad? :-)
Let us know how it goes Chinadog. I'm away for 2 weeks after tonight, but if i remember, i'll keep an eye out for you when I come back.
But he's said himself hasn't he, that he just wants to be friends? All you have to do china is remind him of this and hey ho - go and have a nice night out...
My approach.

"Do you or do you not want to to come out with me...YES or NO.?"

B0llocks to pre conditions.

Just personal experience B00, never known a man who just wanted to be friends when I was single even though that's what they said. Of course this man could be genuinely wanting a friendly night out, only you china can assess that.

Thing is Squad, Sometimes us women have to be blunt with some men. Afterall I could never visualise a woman trying to touch up a man after a date, well not that I know of unless she's a ladette.
We aren't allowed to express our feelings around Sqad pixi, well, not unless they're to his advantage ;-)
pixi.....it pre determines what might or what might not happen.....from either partners.

Go, chinadog! Most of my friends are guys. I have the best nights out with one of my best friends, even though I know how he feels about me; I've always made it clear I don't see him that way. Have some fun! :)

hey China...
If i were you, i would definitely go, just to have some fun on that night. I would not worry about what will happen later though. JUST LIVE THE MOMENT.
By the way my hubby left in July too !!! i have been locking myself in for weeks now, but now i want to have fun really..
Enjoy it ;)
Go for it Chinadog, we're not ALL complete Salad Chefs, he might be an honest genuine bloke
