my mp4 player shows as being connected to my laptop but is not recognised by windows media player as a sync device any suggestions on how to get it to connect?
prev hard drive not showing in bios
  
next download tunes from itunes onto iphone .

Your only hope is a firmware/software patch. Check manufacturers website.
If it's of Chinese origin .. forget it :(
