Perseids meteor Shower

For Moonraker558 a change of subject and for any stargazers here on AB. Tomorrow (Friday) and continueing into the early hours Saturday, The Perseids meteor Shower should be visible. Fingers crossed for a clear night!

Bad weather forecast here-but to me (pessimistic) IF the world ends in dec 2012, it will be large meteor shower (eg rocks third of earth size) so not that bothered but will tape sky at night and watch it IF its on

Oooo nice, im traveling down from Lancs to the South then, hope i see it!

last time it was visible I spents nights in the garden waiting for it - ended up falling asleep one night, woke up at 6am absolutely soaked!

It is a sight to see, Hopefully it will be a clear night. The last time I saw something like that was in Majorca, it was about 2am and I was alone on the balcony at the Hotel, it was quiet and dark and the shower look amazing.

hoping for the clear night, never seen one, just the odd shooting star. Boo hope you are not driving, dont want you running into the car in front on the motorway :o)
