DVD DISC RECORDING ERROR

Can anyone please tell me what the following means please? I was copying something from the hard drive on to a blank dvd - and on 3 separate discs, I got a message on screen saying that there was a recording error E65c040300. On each occasion, some things were copied over OK but not all. I was able to copy the rest on to another disc so it can't be the dvd player itself. Am I just unlucky to have 3 dodgy discs out of a batch of 25? I have never come across this before so would be grateful of any advice/info. Many thanks in advance for your help.

Sorry but I can't help about the three bad discs. Could be just a bad batch?
I usually do trial copies on to a DVD-RW re-writable disc so that if it doesn't work nothing is lost as the RW disc is simply erased and used again.
If it does record OK, the RW disc is then copied to a normal DVD disc.
It takes a bit longer but this suggestion can save your money in the long run.
Hope this helps.
