Information that is held about you on computer databases, and your medical records.

You are entitled to see your credit rating, your criminal record, your personnel records at work.

I was thinking more of other peoples criminal records etc. Although i think my husband would like to see his medical records, how would he go about that?

Personal information such as the above is covered by the data protection act, and has always been available for veiwing (well, since the act in 1984). The freedom of information act does not apply.

You can't look at other people's criminal records. Unless you have access to the PNC.

I guess you need to contact your GP to look at your medical records. Or maybe there's instructions on the NHS website.
i found out yesterday from my father than the man living next door to was convicted & served a sentence for rape. how can i find out if this is true??
My mother & father told me yesterday that the man living next door to me has been convicted & jailed for rape. how can i find out if this is true as i have my 13 year daughter living with me?
