Do EU drivers have to renew photocard driving licences?

In the UK we have to renew our photocard driving licence every 10 years. Do people from the EU have to do the same?

I take it you mean the *rest* of the EU

Yes, it was the case in many EU countries before the photocard was introduced in the UK that licenses only lasted 10 years.
