hi, i've had the milk and more service for about 6 years now. Previously my milk would arrive at 4amor 5 am. Recently it's been coming at about 9:30 am. I have spoken to both milk and more and my milk man who seem to think this is perfectly reasonable (i leave for work at 8:30 so if it hasn't come by then it sits in the sun all day)
i think i'll have to cancel. Does anyone else think 9:30 is reasonable?

No, 9:30 am is not acceptable, as milkman are supposed to be here the crack of dawn. I should have a word with them, and if they do not pull their socks up then get your milk from a supermarket. Farm Foods I think is the cheapest I have been told.

I did not know they are doubling up as a mobile library now, as you expect them to bring a tome.
I used to have the same problem - the milkman turning up after I'd left for work and the milk stood out all day on the doorstep. I had to cancel the milkman.

I now buy several cartons of semi-skimmed in one go from the supermarket and freeze them. I can't taste any difference between fresh and frozen. It works very well for me.
no, not reasonable at all!...........sign of the times!...I don't have a milkman any more!..........there isn't even one here now!.........very sad....do the same as me, call at the supermarket on the way home and and buy it, then you know it's there in the fridge!............
You can't do the whole milk round instantaneously. If you are lucky and at the start of the round, then you get it early, if later it may be after noon. If you have been getting it 4 or 5 am in the morning I think you have been very fortunate. Either find a different company who start the deliveries in your street, or provide a shady cool place to have it left, or have someone stay at home for deliveries, or get it from the supermarket.
Or buy your own cow, perhaps? Would this solve the problem, as then you would have fresh milk then.

What type of publications do cows read?
