I like watching her coz she weighs more than me ! But I have never fancied trying any of her recipes
Ina Garten (a.k.a. Barefoot Contessa) has been on The Food Channel" here in the U.S. for a number of years. She's an interesting woman with a varied background.
Most of her recipes are easily doable as are most of her numerous cookbooks.
The one thing that drives me up the wall, though, is when her husband Jeffrey comes home to a specially prepred something or other, she absolutely reverts to a giggly teenager. Here she is, a world renown cook, T.V. personality, manager of numerous ventures, yet she goes all giddy and giggley in front of her husband... go figure!
I used to like her, then I read she was 'too busy' to meet somebody who was dying and it was one of their wishes - she went right down in my estimations.

It is cringey! Last week i watched, she was going away for a night, left a flippin stew that would feed the 5000! Ice cream....and scones for brekky then there was this played out cringey scene where she calls him hes eating the ice cream which she predicted he would do before his dinner! Uurgh! And she "tricks him" asking how the chicken was when it was actually beef! Its soooo fake x
