Cost for cutting down a conifer tree

Does anyone know how much it would cost to reduce the height of a conifer tree from 30 ft down to 15 ft, or the cost of removing the tree completely?

Do yourself a favour and (if it`s a Leylandii) get it out before it grows to about 70ft and then it will cost about £200. Probably about £100 at it`s present height.
