Not in the UK army, no. The British Army these days has Brigadier, not B-General.
I thought most of the General ranks were B(loody) Generals to the TA troops, boxtops.
Yes DT - which clarifies my response, your link says:

In the first quarter of the 20th century, British and Commonwealth armies used the rank of Brigadier General as a temporary appointment, or as an honorary appointment on retirement; in the 1920s this practice changed to the use of Brigadier, which is not classed as a general officer.
I know I was backing you, a title used in some other countries though but not ours (now)
Thank you ;-)
There are Brigadiers in both the Regular + Territorial Army's

Hope this helps
The RAF equivalent (Air Commodore) is classed as one-star air rank.
The question refered to T.A/Regular Army rank, not teeny-weeny crab airways mike
