Some ABers on the news section have been almost hysterical in their condemnation of the Daily Mail, even going so far as ridiculing and abusing anyone who dares to post a DM link with their question.

But recently I have noticed that DM links are becoming more the norm, they are even being used extensively by the 'Daily Mail Hate Brigade'.

Have they at last realised that if one wants to 'pack a punch' then there is only one paper that does so?

i don't have to buy the mail, or indeed any paper to know that your last paragraph has a ring of truth about it. I quite like the c/w, that's one of the reasons i buy it, and some of the articles are interesting, also for what its worth i like Quentin Letts, he's funny, and the cartoonists Pugh and Mac are great. Used to do the Telegraph c/w but not lately.

Chatterbox items, please don't clog up the news section pixi, or I will have to report you.
Petulance is a very unattractive trait, AOG.
pixi was simply commenting that this actually IS the incorrect category for this thread.......just because it is about a NEWSpaper doesn't mean that id ought to be in the News section.....Arts & *literature*, perhaps?

ner ner yourself. i do zeuhl, but sometimes i don't get to do more than the c/w because the brainbox that compiles it manages to outfox me time and again, some of the answers are straight out of laurel and hardy, and if you look on how many on here do the DM, will know that many have the same problem

that sounds like me, I only read Playboy for the political commentary and I only read the Mail for the crossword.
oh how droll, this has turned into the bunfight at the ok corral

I actually never get to read it. Mr. cupid reads it from cover to cover and I
just get the middle bit with the puzzles!
Here are a couple of excellent links regarding the Daily Wail... ermm sorry that should read Daily Mail... for you. Sums up the paper perfectly, IMO :)

and it is always fun to find out what their latest cancer causing item is..... they must have pretty much divided up the world into what does or doesn't give you cancer by now.
