It was sad. I was surprised how articulate the children were in explaining their situations. And how accepting and understanding.

I didn't think it was possible to live in such poverty in the UK. That's probably my ignorance though.

I also thought the same as you ummmm, what a great bunch of kids and how articulate they were. Poor Sam when he was saying he had to wear his sister's school blouse and blazer to school, bless his heart - and his sister Kayleigh had tried to take her life, heartbreaking - but what a brilliant Dad they had, as their Mother
p!ssed off when Sam was 2, hope she was watching !
Yeowch - that was tough to watch :-(
Wasn't it......so so sad.

Now I'm watching Women, Weddings, War and me.....
I think I might need a fix of Outnumbered or maybe the IT Crowd to cheer me up !
My internet had a hissy fit and cut me off :-(

It's awful to think that children are living like that....and adults actually. I really don't know how to feel. Obviously the benefits system is not the easy life that some posters in news would have you believe.

Where were the plasmas and gadgets that some people scream about? Didn't see them drinking or smoking either...
There was something on either the TV or radio this morning that said benefits are more succesful if they are named e.g you receive a certain amount of Fuel benefit or a certain amount of food benefit.
I was in the shower at the time so I did not hear it all
