if someones bail conditions state that they are not to talk to you or contact you, what happens if you bump into them in the street and say hello?

If they don't reply they should be OK

They're obliged to ignore you (although it's unlikely that the police or the courts would object if they simply said "Sorry, I can't speak to you", and nothing else).

If this has happened both parties have been very stupid, and the fault lies with both of them. However i can't really see how anyone in authority would find out
