Anyone know if I can buy a newspaper one day at a time for my Kindle?.

I don't want to subscribe, even with the 14 day free trial. It's just like I buy a newspapers from newsagent, whenever I feel inclined to read one, but some days I don't want a newspaper.

Thanks for any ideas

No! no!.

Download Calibre

Click on "Fetch News"........then there is a whole list of countries with newspapers that you can download free.

English is Daily Mail and i think Daily Telegraph and there may well be others.

Depends what newspaper......as you can get some FREE.
yes you can. you can either subscribe monthly or on an as and when basis. I would recommend getting the free trial first because in my experience it was a bit disappointing compared to a real newspaper. Then just cancel the trial before the end, and download the days copy whenever you want

The only ones I saw were for subscriptions on the Amazon kindle store

I'm fairly sure bednobs, they make you sign-up and give card details, and they you have to follow all the T&C when you wish to stop delivery -- don't know for sure but that is what I have found in my dealings with the various free-offers

Does Calibre work with Kindle?
hc4361....yes.

Calibre is downloaded onto your PC and then hooked up to your Kindle with USB connection.
I use Calibre with my Sony reader. It is very good.
but if you have a kindle, you already have an account with amazon, with all your CC details so no extra details are required from what you will have already given. It's not hard just to go on your amazon account and cancel the subscription
or, just dont get the free trial buy a paper one day and see what you think (you'llstill have to use your amazon account to do it)
