I just noticed on another thread that you had found your son looking at unsuitable stuff on his laptop. I wanted to let you know that I downloaded and installed a great parental control program yesterday called K9 and thought you might like to try it out. It even gives you a report that lets you know what they have been trying to view but it has blocked.

Anyway, who mentioned porn? I said 'unsuitable' ;)
The stuff my stepsons used to watch was disgusting. They shocked me and I am practically unshockable.

lol, thank you daffy x

it was over a year ago and I think he learned a lesson.. he tried to pretend it was innocent so I clicked on the page and read out loud from it. he was so embarrassed!

he has parental controls on his lappy, but if I set them he can't access msn or lots of music sites he likes. I'll have a look at K9, and thanks again :o)

K9 allows you to set which sites are allowed. It blocked Youtube by default but I was able to set it to always allow access to that site.
