ancient books of blind faith are fiction,

written in a time of greater illiteracy they cannot possibly have any accuracy,

many times and i am not alone, i have read an article in a newspaper reporting something about which i have a deal of knowledge and invariably there are factual errors and that is today with instant communication,

even now tell a story to someone and 5 stages down the line the story will be greatly different, so stuff passed by word of mouth and then scratched on a tablet by the bloke who could write...... have no credence,

they are stories and by all means enjoy the tale, but dont live your life hanging on every word.......... consider intelligence as an option

Oh, Okay then.
I agree but --er-- what was the question?
I think I agree but am not really sure I understand.......anything, right?
I disagree.

I don't even think most religions are good stories, they are just stories.
The Bible myths are not even good stories. Good stories need to make sense by at least being plausible with continuity that avoids impossible sequences of events.

not a direct question obviously but an opportunity for faithers to profess their view
They were kept alive in the 'oral tradition' until someone invented the propelling pencil.........and if there are people who believe that the stories underwent NO sort of corruption, well they obviously haven't played a game of 'Chinese Whispers' !!
Just wondering, what if this theory has already gone five stages down the line?
That just shows that you don't know much about all of the religions.
If you take, say, the parable of the Good Samaritan, how do you think it might have been corrupted by word of mouth and the ancient technology of writing?
Was ‘the good samaritan’ the one where a guy pretends to have been robbed and when someone stops to help him his accomplices who have been hiding nearby then rob the helper? The moral being ‘be careful who you help because you may later regret it’
Since you are so obviously an expert in what is literate and not, do you think you could work your way round your keyboard and find out how to do capital letters? Or are you ee cummings in disguise?

i am not on here to write a novel correctly for the pedants on this site,

this media is like a chat site or alike to sending 'quick' email memos,

its the message not the format, but for your benefit...

I could not care less.

i do put the odd comma in to make sure i get a line break.....
zaba...............really petty >
Zabadak..I guess if you know that a capital letter is required then it is redundant. :-)
